Service for Immigrants at ICE Detention Facility

Contra Costa West County Detention Facility
5555 Giant Highway
94806 Richmond , CA

Join T'ruah rabbis and cantors in protesting the detention of immigrants like Hugo Mejia and thousands like him across the country. Hugo has lived in California for over fifteen years. He's a loving family man with three children, an active community and school volunteer, and a dedicated worker who was detained at the beginning of May when reporting to construction work at an air base.

Sing and pray together, listen to the Torah of Justice, hear the call of the shofar, and demand that ICE and the Trump Administration repent of their sinful ways and return to a path of compassion and humanity.

Come watch The Bail Trap: American Ransom from Brave New Films to learn about this issue and how to support current bail reform legislation (California Senate Bill SB10). Discussion to follow.
